Nabeena Uni

My entry for =Beaudion's Contest.

The theme was to draw a blind gryphon character with the head of a barn owl and the body of a snow leopard. Naming the character was also part of the theme and I chose to name him/her "Nabeena Uni" which is a mixture of Urdu and Finnish, meaning "Blind/Eyeless Dream" (correct me if I'm wrong, please! ) I see him/her (I prefer "her" so I'll use that for now) as a happy and wise creature that has the power to protect your dreams, hence the dream catchers around her neck. She sees the dreams through your eyes, instead of using her own, which she does not have. This was just how I imagined her to be if I had to make up a personality.

I'm not that experienced in drawing animals but I wanted to give it a try! Critique is always welcome!
